About
Plant Tours Can I attend more than one tour? Each conference pass includes ONE tour. Once I sign up for a tour am I guaranteed a spot on that tour? Yes, assuming that you have not been precluded by that plant. Anyone who has been precluded will receive an email indicating that they must select a new tour. There is one tour that I really want to go on that is already full. Can I get on a waiting list? You should register for another tour if the tour you desire is already full. When you arrive at the conference, you can get on a waiting list for a tour that is full at the plant tour registration desk. Individuals on the wait list will need to report to the plant tour ready room at the tour departure time to "stand by" until all pre-registered tour attendees have checked in. Individuals from the wait list will fill in for any "no shows" in the order that they signed up on the wait list provided they have not been precluded by the plant. What if I change my mind? What if there is another plant tour confirmed after I have already registered to attend one? You will be to switch plant tours up to a month before the conference starts. Here's how to do it: Upon registering for the conference online, you will automatically receive a confirmation email with a confirmation number and link that will allow you to access your registration to modify your plant tour selection. If you register by mail or by fax, you will received this confirmation email once your payment has been processed. Are there any other restrictions for specific tours? Please check each individual plant tour summary for any restrictions or guidelines that might apply. I don't want to miss any programming but I want to go on a plant tour too! When is best to go on a tour? There are plant tours scheduled on April 27th that do not overlap any programming. Can I drive to the plant and meet up with the group instead of taking the bus? No. You must check in at your tour's scheduled meeting room, and depart on the charter bus with the rest of your group. What should I wear while on the plant tour? Please check your plant tour's summary on this website for the appropriate dress code. Attendees must follow the dress code or they will not be able to go on the tour.
